personal websites

this project boils down to

SSGs, blogging, and deployment pains

I built my first website at 15 for a highschool project. It was a Metallica tribute page, with photo galleries, discography tables, and a contact form for fan mail -- all in HTML. I'd like to say that I've come a long way since then, but well... I've invested in other skills.

Anyway, I still enjoy dabbling into web design and having some frontend fun, so I've built two personal websites (that are kinda worth sharing).

  1. https://aloci.gitlab.io - The website you're seeing right now. Built with docusaurus and deployed with GitLab Pages.
  2. https://lorenanda.github.io - My previous personal website, until I launched (1). Built with Jekyll using the Beautiful Jekyll theme and deployed with GitHub Pages.
  3. https://inictuoculi.photography/ - My photography website, which I've stopped updating because I'll start sharing photos on (1) instead. Built with Hugo using the Eternity theme and deployed with Netlify.
